Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Edinburgh meet - any interest?

Hi guys,

Anyone live in Edinburgh/Glasgow, or want to visit? I was wondering if there'd be interest in an Edinburgh meet. Festival time has come and gone but to be honest there's a lot to do in Edinburgh year-round.

Ideas:

- Zoo (always popular, but expensivish - £15.50, or £12.50 if there's more than 10 of us)
- Royal Botanic Gardens (great place to chill, plus it's free!)
- Generic pub/café meet (generic doesn't mean bad!)
- Art galleries/museums (there are some quite nice ones)
- Touristy stuff e.g. visit the Castle, go down the Royal Mile, go on one of those tour bus things
- Go to a ceilidh?!
- Any events, if anyone knows of anything that's on besides Hogmanay and Festival Season.

Any other ideas very welcome. Of course I know actual attendance will depend on dates but at the moment I'm just trying to get an idea of numbers and whether it'd be worth trying to organise something or not.

I'm really interested!!! (But no Zoo plz. I was there a couple of days ago...and seriously it was one of the emptiest zoos I've ever seen- AND the panda thing is super-exaggarated... I saw only a half-panda that day. xD)

Really? When I was there it was great! We saw the penguin parade but missed the bit where you can feed all the tropical birds.

But it was more than a year ago that we went, perhaps it's not so great? What time of day did you visit? I hear zoos are better in the mornings as after that the animals go to sleep lol.
